Refacing
We offer quality cabinet refacing for our clients. Many homeowners have a budget they want to maintain or new counters and floors they don't want to disturb or replace.
Many of the homes we visit have structurally sound cabinetry that, if refaced, can provide many additional years of utility and still look great in your home. Today, most cabinet refacing consists of saving the base cabinets, so as to avoid tampering with the floor beneath, and instead replacing wall cabinets and tall cabinets where possible. New doors and drawer fronts are fitted and installed on your existing cabinetry to match the new cabinetry. The face frames and exposed ends are fitted with matching wood veneers to complete the transformation from looking old to new. New moldings for the entire kitchen are also provided and installed to give them that finishing touch.
New hinges are automatically included as part of the refacing of your cabinetry.
Canyon can provide replacement drawer boxes if they are needed. We also have a complete line of hardware and accessories (ie. pullouts, tilt outs, etc.) which can be added to give your kitchen or bath remodel that state-of-the-art appearance you desire. All of this work can be accomplished in a fraction of the time it would take to replace your cabinetry, counters, flooring, etc.
As for return on investment, you can expect credit for having updated and remodeled your kitchen, bath, or other home environment; however, there is no credit for having over-built. This is just another advantage of cabinet refacing as it is essentially equivalent to a full remodel, only more frugal. Yet still, it has the same, or nearly the same, return on investment.
